Market

To create a market order, simply click on a featured trending token icon or search for your token using the ticker or a contract address.

On this page, you will be able to quickly access token purchases, and you'll also see the market cap, volume, and the liquidity pool of the respective token.

Place an Order!​

To place a market order, you need to:

  1. Paste the contract or type the ticker name in the search box.
  2. Type in the amount of Solana to buy worth of that token, and click "Buy".
  3. You can check the amount of solana bought, amount of solana sold, amount of solana holding, and the amount you are up on your purchase all within The Terminal!

Before placing a market order make sure to consider these 3 factors:

  • Priority Fee - Additional fees you can pay to increase the speed and likelihood of your transaction confirming.
  • Slippage - The % amount of change in price you will allow while waiting for the transaction to confirm.
  • MEV Protection - In some cases, malicious actors can detect your incoming buy order before it gets confirmed. They exploit this by purchasing a large amount of the token right before you and selling immediately after. MEV Protection allows you to pay an additional fee to help prevent this type of attack.

ℹ️ MEV Protection is only necessary for buy transactions and does not need to be enabled for selling on most tokens!
